The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) and the visiting Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA), observed Lakewood's softball team get by Riverside Prep by a tally of 10-3.

The Lancers (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Millikan (Long Beach, CA). The Rams go into the Moore bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Millikan was routed by Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 7-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Silver Knights clash with the Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA) in a Cross Valley bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Riverside Prep will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA).
