Utah High School Softball - Richfield South Summit

The Richfield Wildcats softball squad (Richfield, UT), was routed 9-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT)

With the triumph, South Summit improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lone Peak (Highland, UT) to face the Knights in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 15. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Lone Peak lost 8-7 in their recent non-league contest against Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID)

The Wildcats now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Manti for a 3A Region 12 contest on Tuesday, March 18. Richfield will face a Templars squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Juab (Nephi, UT). The Templars record now stands at 3-6.
