In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Georgetown Eagles baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Glenn Grizzlies.
The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region IV District 25 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Marble Falls tipped TMI-Episcopal (San Antonio, TX), 4-1, in a non-league game.
The Grizzlies (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Leander (Leander, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region IV District 25 game with a 11-4 record.
