The Gardena Panthers prevailed the host Serra Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banning for a Marine test on Thursday, March 17. Gardena will confront a Pilots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 0-6.

The Cavaliers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Cardinals enter the Santa Fe test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary gained a win over St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
