In Wednesday's league contest, the Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) lacrosse squad edged the host Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA), by a count of 8-7.
Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 18. Allatoona will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Hoyas come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to Cherokee (Canton, GA).
The Eagles now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a 6A-7A Area 5 contest on Friday, March 18. Etowah will confront a Wolverines squad coming off a 10-9 league win over Dalton (Dalton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-4.
