The crowd at Wednesday's non-league game between the Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) and the visiting East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA), saw Northgate's lacrosse team top East Coweta by a margin of 17-7.
The Vikings (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Hornets enter the 1A-5A Area 7 game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Hampton was overwhelmed by Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA), 23-0, in a league game.
The Indians (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Hawks enter the 6A-7A Area 3 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Hillgrove toppled Pope (Marietta, GA), 13-4, in a non-league game.
