The Lake Norman Charter Knights soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Knights face the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A contest, on Friday, March 18. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 4-1 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
The Eagles now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Surry Central for a Foothills 2A contest on Friday, March 18. Wilkes Central will face a Golden Eagles team coming off a 1-0 league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
