The Newport Harbor Sailors baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Edison Chargers to 3 in the Sailors league victory on Wednesday.
The Sailors (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Kennedy (La Palma, CA). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Kennedy edged Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA), 8-5, in a non-league match.
The Chargers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Barons go into the match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Fountain Valley edged Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 8-4, in a league match.
