The Pinnacle Pioneers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Valley Vista Monsoon to 1 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pioneers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Cibola (Yuma, AZ). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Cibola ran past Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ), 7-2, in a non-league match.
The Monsoon (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Wolverines go into the match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Tolleson ran past Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ), 23-2, in a non-league match.
