The Armstrong Trojans softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers to 11 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Armstrong improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans host Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL) to clash with the Buffaloes in a Vermilion Valley game on Thursday, March 17. The Buffaloes come into the game with a record of 0-1. Georgetown-Ridge Farm lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Arcola (Arcola, IL)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 18. Paxton-Buckley-Loda will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 12-6 league win over St. Anne (St. Anne, IL).
