The Joliet Central Steelmen softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Aurora East Tomcats to 3 in the Steelmen non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Joliet Central moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Steelmen travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, March 17. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 1-0. Wilmington won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL)
In their next game, the Tomcats play the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a Upstate Eight game, on Thursday, April 7. Aurora East will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
