Alabama High School Softball - Austin bounces Sparkman

March 16, 2022: Harvest, AL 35749

The Austin Black Bears routed the host Sparkman Senators softball squad by a final score of 6-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Black Bears (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Florence (Florence, AL). The Falcons go into the 7A Area 8 battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Florence held off Belgreen (Russellville, AL), 15-2, in a non-league battle.

The Senators now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Spain Park for a non-league battle on Monday, March 21. Sparkman will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 18-2.
