The Fremont Silverwolves softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Mountain Crest Mustangs to 2 in the Silverwolves non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Fremont improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Silverwolves travel to Clearfield (Clearfield, UT) to clash with the Falcons in a 6A Region 1 game on Thursday, March 17. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 1-3. Clearfield lost 8-4 in their recent non-league game against Beaver (Beaver, UT)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Woods Cross Wildcats (Woods Cross, UT) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 18. Mountain Crest will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Roy (Roy, UT).
