California High School Softball - Gonzales bounces Santa Catalina

The Gonzales Spartans routed the host Santa Catalina Cougars softball squad by a final score of 11-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against King City (King City, CA). The Mustangs go into the PCAL - Cypress battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, King City was routed by North Salinas (Salinas, CA), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Carmel for a PCAL - Mission bout on Tuesday, March 22. Santa Catalina will confront a Padres squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Padres record now stands at 0-8.
