The Sparkman Senators softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Madison County Tigers to 8 in the Senators non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Sparkman improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Senators host Austin (Decatur, AL) to clash with the Black Bears in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 16. The Black Bears come into the game with a record of 12-4. Austin won 14-1 in their recent non-league game against Gallatin (Gallatin, TN)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 24. Madison County will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Grissom (Huntsville, AL).
