In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting South Spartans baseball team scored a nice 11-3 victory over the Carson Colts.

The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Lawndale (Lawndale, CA). The Cardinals go into the Pioneer game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Lawndale was overwhelmed by West (Torrance, CA), 9-0, in a league game.

The Colts (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Bell (Bell, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Bell was overwhelmed by Garfield (Los Angeles, CA), 2-1, in a league game.
