The Habersham Central Raiders baseball team (Mt. Airy, GA), was overwhelmed 14-7 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA)
The Bears now hold a 14-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Hall for a 4A Area 8 outing on Monday, March 20. Cherokee Bluff will face a Vikings team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-11.
Next, the Raiders face the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a 6A Area 8 outing, on Monday, March 20. Habersham Central will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 7-10 record after their 10-3 league loss to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA).
