The West Jones Mustangs got by the host Neshoba Central Rockets baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Lauderdale for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. West Jones will face a Knights team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Knights record now stands at 6-1.

Next, the Rockets face the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a 5A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 21. Neshoba Central will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Titans enter the bout with a 10-4 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Richland (Richland, MS).
