The South Stokes Sauras baseball team (Walnut Cove, NC), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC)

The Wildcats now hold a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Surry for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 18. West Stokes will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-2.

Next, the Sauras confront the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a Northwest 1A outing, on Monday, March 20. South Stokes will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 1-6 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC).
