In Thursday's league game, the host St. John's Cadets baseball team scored a nice 14-4 victory over the St. Mary's Ryken Knights.
The Cadets (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Gilman (Baltimore, MD). The Greyhounds go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Gilman was overwhelmed by St. Albans (Washington, DC), 5-2, in a non-league game.
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Eagles go into the Washington Catholic game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Gonzaga was overwhelmed by Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD), 5-4, in a non-league game.
