Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) and the visiting Timberlake Tigers (Spirit Lake, ID), saw Sugar-Salem's baseball squad knock off Timberlake by a count of 7-4.

Coming up next, the Diggers play the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 17. Sugar-Salem will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Pilgrims enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 18-7 non-league loss to Homedale (Homedale, ID).
