The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) and the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), saw Catawba Ridge's lacrosse team top Butler by a margin of 14-1.

The Copperheads (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Cavaliers enter the 4A challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Christ Church Episcopal was overwhelmed by Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC), 18-17, in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Lake Norman Charter beat South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 22-15, in a league challenge.
