North Carolina High School Soccer - Thomas Jefferson overwhelmed by Mountain Island Charter

The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) and the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), saw Mountain Island Charter's soccer squad triumph over Thomas Jefferson by a margin of 8-1.

The Raptor now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Pine Lake Prep for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, March 20. Mountain Island Charter will meet a Pride squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Pride record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson drops to 2-3 on the season. The Gryphons host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to meet the Ironmen in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 21. The Ironmen come into the test with a record of 0-5.
