In Thursday's non-league game, the Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), by a final score of 5-1.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Governor's School for Science & Math (Hartsville, SC). The Eagles go into the A Region 3 game with a 2-0 record.
The Diamond Hornets (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians go into the AAA Region 5 game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Gilbert nipped Swansea (Swansea, SC), 4-1, in a league game.
