In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Colleton County Cougars softball team scored a close 12-8 win over the Branchville Yellow Jackets.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 outing, on Monday, March 27. Colleton County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.

The Yellow Jackets (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Wolverines enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
