Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA), 16-0 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Prep for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21.
With the loss, River Oaks falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Southwood (Shreveport, LA) to battle the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 2-13. Southwood lost 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA)
