The Dillon Wildcats softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting North Myrtle Beach Chiefs to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Dillon improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC) to clash with the Warriors in a AAA Region 7 game on Friday, March 17. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-3. Waccamaw lost 12-0 in their recent league game against Aynor (Aynor, SC)

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Hartsville Red Foxes (Hartsville, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 game, on Friday, March 17. North Myrtle Beach will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Red Foxes come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to West Florence (Florence, SC).
