Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host LaConner Braves (LaConner, WA), 21-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Monroe for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, March 27.

With the loss, LaConner falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA) to battle the Wolverines in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
