The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20. Emery will battle a Oilers squad coming off a 19-4 league loss to Vallejo (Vallejo, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Tennyson falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. San Lorenzo won 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA)
