The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Trinity's softball squad nip High Point Central by a count of 34-33.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host R.J. Reynolds for a non-league match on Monday, March 20. Trinity will face a Demons squad coming off a 23-0 league loss to Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Demons record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, High Point Central falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to face the Storm in a Mid-State 3A match on Tuesday, March 21. The Storm enter the match with a record of 4-2. Southern Guilford won 20-0 in their recent league match against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)
