The South Allegheny Gladiators softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Jeannette Jayhawks to 3 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, South Allegheny improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA) to clash with the Leopards in a non-league game on Friday, March 17. The Leopards come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Jayhawks clash with the East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 23. Jeannette will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
