The La Cueva Bears softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting St. Pius X Sartans to 5 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, La Cueva improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Bears host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, March 17. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 10-1. Cibola won 12-3 in their recent non-league game against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
