California High School Softball - South San Francisco Mercy

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Mercy Crusaders (Burlingame, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host South San Francisco Warriors (South San Francisco, CA), by a margin of 9-2.

With the triumph, Mercy moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Crusaders host Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Monday, March 20. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 2-0. Burlingame won 7-2 in their recent non-league contest against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 17. South San Francisco will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Fightin' Irish come into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mills (Millbrae, CA).
