The West Lauderdale Knights softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Smithville Seminoles to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, West Lauderdale improves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS) to clash with the Red Rebels in a non-league game on Saturday, March 18. The Red Rebels come into the game with a record of 6-0. Harrison Central won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS)

In their next game, the Seminoles clash with the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 20. Smithville will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Tupelo (Tupelo, MS).
