The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Calvert Hall Cardinals to 6 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mavericks (3-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, St. Anne's-Belfield edged Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Gael go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record.
