The Richland Bombers baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Mercer Island Islanders to 1 in the Bombers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bombers (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Hermiston (Hermiston, WA). The Bulldogs go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Hermiston tipped Ferris (Spokane, WA), 8-7, in a non-league match.
The Islanders (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Issaquah, WA). The Patriots go into the 3A KingCo match with a 1-3 record.
