With the win, Oakton upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host West Potomac (Alexandria, VA) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league test on Monday, March 18. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 0-3. West Potomac lost 4-1 in their recent league test against South County (Lorton, VA)

With the defeat, West Springfield falls to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans host Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to battle the Bruins in a Patriot test on Tuesday, March 19. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 1-1.
