California High School Volleyball - Mt. Carmel can't hold off La Costa Canyon

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting La Costa Canyon Mavericks volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Mt. Carmel Sundevils.
The Mavericks (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Torrey Pines nudged Poway (Poway, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Sundevils encounter the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 16. Mt. Carmel will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Lancers come into the battle with a 8-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Francis Parker (San Diego, CA).
