In Saturday's non-league battle, the host St. Joseph Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles.

The Knights (14-6) will now prepare for their battle against Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers come into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Venice nudged Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Pacifica Christian/Orange County Tritons (Newport Beach, CA) in a San Joaquin battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Capistrano Valley Christian will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record.
