The Irvine Vaqueros volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros to 1 in the Vaqueros non-league victory on Saturday.

The Vaqueros now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbridge for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 19. Irvine will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northwood (Irvine, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.

The Vaqueros (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, Godinez Fundamental nipped Katella (Anaheim, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
