In Saturday's non-league contest, the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars (Felton, CA) volleyball squad edged the visiting Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) in a SCCAL contest, on Tuesday, March 19. San Lorenzo Valley will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Mariners come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA).

With the loss, Palma drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Watsonville (Watsonville, CA) to battle the Wildcatz in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 21. The Wildcatz come into the contest with a record of 1-5. Watsonville lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Pacific Collegiate (Santa Cruz, CA)
