Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 17-2 in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. James for a 5A Lower District 5 battle on Monday, March 18. Wando will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sharks record now stands at 7-2.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. James Island will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 19-2 league win over Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC).
