In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) lacrosse squad edged the host Loveland Tigers (Loveland, OH), by a count of 11-10.

Coming up next, the Firebirds confront the Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH) in a Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, March 19. Lakota West will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 13-5 league win over Walnut Hills (Cincinnati, OH).

The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakota East for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 21.
