The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), saw Garfield's softball squad achieve victory over Franklin by a count of 15-5.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Gate for a match on Wednesday, March 20.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mendez (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Thursday, March 21. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 3-4.
