Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC), 14-2 in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Swansboro for a Coastal battle on Tuesday, March 19. Croatan will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Croatan (Newport, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-1.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a Central/Mid-Carolina battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Northwood will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 11-4 league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).
