In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Rhea County Golden Eagles soccer team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Elberta Warriors.
With the win, Rhea County moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Gulf Shores Dolphins (Gulf Shores, AL) in a 5A Area 1 bout, on Monday, April 1. Elberta will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
