Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Miners now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Ridge for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Bingham will battle a Sentinels squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV). The Sentinels record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Crimson Cliffs falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Desert Hills (St. George, UT) to battle the Thunder in a 4A Region 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Thunder enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Desert Hills won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Murray (Murray, UT)
