The Brandon Bulldogs softball team (Brandon, MS), 10-8 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS)

Coming up next, the Whippets encounter the Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) in a 4A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, March 19. Kosciusko will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a 9-5 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to East Webster (Maben, MS).

The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Meridian (Meridian, MS). The Wildcats come into the 7A Region 3 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Meridian edged Perry Central (New Augusta, MS), 11-1, in a non-league test.
