Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) and the host Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC), witnessed Catawba Ridge's softball squad tip Gray Collegiate Academy by a count of 6-1.

The Copperheads now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Indian Land for a AAAA Region 3 match on Tuesday, March 19. Catawba Ridge will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lewisville (Richburg, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Gray Collegiate Academy moves to 3-1 on the season. The War eagles travel to Summerville (Summerville, SC) to face the Green Wave in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 20. The Green Wave go into the match with a record of 7-0. Summerville won 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
