The Roswell Coyotes softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Deming Wildcats to 7 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Roswell moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 19. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 5-1. Lovington won 17-0 in their recent non-league game against Clovis (Clovis, NM)
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 18. Deming will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Chiefs come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM).
